For me:

1. My pre-op clarking appointment is over and I still aten't dead.
2. I made a great dinner which was waiting in the slow cooker when we got home.
3. There's a lavender-oil bath waiting for me as I type this.
4. I spoke to my sister today.
5. I spoke to my mother today.

For Linnea:

1. She has red Christmas tights.
2. Lots and lots of people today told us and her how fantastic she is.
3. She slept properly for both naps.
4. She only went through one complete change of clothes today (in M&S).
5. She has no nappy rash at all.

Have you tried polyester fleece liners? They wick away the wet from her skin. We always use one under the paper liner, and we don't use a paper liner at all at night as it decreases the absorbency of the polyester liner. We found that buying some fleece and cutting it to size worked a lot better than buying pre-made liners.

No, we haven't tried that yet -- just an extra cotton (I presume) insert at night.

I've heard about the fleece thing, though. Maybe I should try it, though I'm not sure what it'd be called in German or whether it's available here.

If you can find a fabric shop, just look for fuzzy blanket type fabric and check it's made of polyester. I'm sure it's available because so much Made in Germany stuff is made of it - warm jumper/jacket things, blankets, hats etc.
