5 good things
Dec. 2nd, 2004 10:15 pmFor me:
- My pre-op clarking appointment is over and I still aten't dead.
- I made a great dinner which was waiting in the slow cooker when we got home.
- There's a lavender-oil bath waiting for me as I type this.
- I spoke to my sister today.
- I spoke to my mother today.
For Linnea:
- She has red Christmas tights.
- Lots and lots of people today told us and her how fantastic she is.
- She slept properly for both naps.
- She only went through one complete change of clothes today (in M&S).
- She has no nappy rash at all.

No rash is truly a good thing.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Date: 2004-12-05 01:36 pm (UTC)The other thing to do, while you're using the dispos, is to wash your cotton nappies on 90degrees, and then stick each one in the microwave for a minute on full - be careful taking them out of the microwave because the steam will be, well, as hot as you'd expect, really - after we did that, YoungBloke's nasty rash disappeared and even after 3 months hasn't come back.
We sometimes do an extra rinse after the wash to check that all the soap's gone, too.
