Sophie's Choice
Nov. 26th, 2006 10:17 pmLast night I saw a clip from the film "Sophie's Choice" and it really ruined my night. I cried myself to sleep, in spite of reading Georgette Heyer to take my mind off it, and slept... stressfully.
I've only just stopped obsessing about the whole thing myself; before I got antidepressants I'd lie awake at night trying to work out whether, if trapped in a mass grave awaiting gunshots, it would be better to hold the children up so that they could be shot cleanly, or to try to hide them under the bodies of the adults so that they could get out alive.
The inside of my head is not a nice place to be. I'd like to be out of it, please.
