I'm not very pleased about it. It's not what I'd hoped for.

But the consultant was lovely, which helps.

*hugs* I can understand your disappointment.

Part of me is tempted to have the planned c-section I was offered with tiggle as labour _hurts_ but the sensible part knows that a natural labour has a shorter recovery time than a major operation.

As long as you have plenty of help arranged for after any future births, then you'll be fine :) I made the mistake of not having enough help available after my emergency c-section with Kate as I was let down & didn't insist that Andy take time off work to help me out.

I wouldn't classify your labour as a "normal" natural labour though. When I think of natural labour, I think of ones like my mum's that lasted 6 hours with no pain relief as it wasn't needed.

I struggled to recoved from the back pain from carrying a transverse baby for the last trimester far more than recovering from the c-section surgery tbh anyway.
