My Irish ears hear "Me go a gah din."

Rob's English ears hear a perfectly distinct "Me go out garden."

It's an accent thing.

I'm noticing my 20 mouth old nephew developing his Scottish accent. Even after living here for a decade it was unbelievably cute and yet a little bit different to what I'm used too in little ones related to me.

What I find weirdest is that I think she's still baby-talking and mispronouncing, and English ears think those sounds are it, that's the goal, that's the end product of learning to talk.

We had it with Linnea and the word "Ball", I remember. And, of course, anything with a terminal R.
