For my next baby I would like...

Slightly coarse, curly or frizzy hair, so that it looks ok even a few hours after brushing, and perhaps some days might look ok even unbrushed. I like the sleek fine look but it's a bit revolting if unbrushed after being slept on and I prefer not to flinch when I see my children, which means limited rat-king nest effects. OR a child who will tolerate a haircut. Or both, of course.

Normal feet with ordinary anklebones that take a standard Clarks or StartRite E or F shoe, so I can buy things in non-specialist shoe shops sometimes, where they are much cheaper.

A sleeper, who likes a pouch sling at least as much as a buggy.

Good strong teeth.

High tolerance for sudden loud noises. And sudden loud siblings. Luckily I seem to be good at those.

Also, if it could arrange to be a boy, a girl and a puppy all at once, the children will be delighted, because they can't make up their minds.

(Linnea occasionally says that maybe the second twin was hiding behind the first baby in the picture.)

Watch out with that request for curly or frizzy hair - I have coarse wavy frizz and I generally look like I haven't brushed my hair, even 2 minutes after the fact. :)

Agreed entirely (not about you, about the curly frizzy hair thing). Also, it tangles without provocation.

Could recommend what a Chinese colleague does: from birth, every couple of weeks she's run the clippers over her boy's head. Keeps it short and manageable and he's completely used to having a haircut.
