IIRC, it was 2 or 3 cups of flour, one of porridge oats, two of warm water, a teaspoon of yeast, a teaspoon of sugar, and about a third of a cup of poppy seeds. I kneaded and proved it once, then knocked it back, transferred it to an oiled loaf tin, and brushed it with honey warmed in the microwave. When it had doubled in size I covered the tin with another tin, to give it lots of rising room, and baked it for ages on gas mark 5.
I'm almost stopped weighing and measuring for yeast bread nowadays.
Thanks. I'm not sure how brave I am at doing without measuring, I'm not that experienced. :-) But I'll give it a go soon. Currently I'm trying to make Maori bread for the first time. Made the bug yesterday and had to make a major departure from the recipe so no idea if I'll have something decent for this Saturday.
