I'm beginning to think the ASA are a bit too relaxed about gratuitous sexual content in TV ads. Yes, they're keeping them away from kids, but they are definitely promoting the idea that men can view women entirely as objects, on the levels of their cars, fast food, furniture etc.
As a man, I cannot accept that women are portrayed as fastfood. It is extremely demeaning to women and slightly demeaning to men. The feelings of fast food, I must say, I don't worry too much about.
Slight clarification: I assume you mean you cannot accept the *fact* that women are portrayed as fast food, not that you cannot accept the *assertion* that women are portrayed as fast food? That is, you find the fact unpleasant, not you think we're lying about it?
