So I did.

I just left almost all the breastfeeding and women's health communities I was in. In fact, I left the ones I was in mainly for other people, and kept the ones I am in for my own sake.

It feels... strange.

I have also decided not to further pursue legal action against the hospital. The cost is too great and what I have already achieved for future mothers will have to satisfy my conscience.

That sounds like a well-made decision. Well done.

I did the same thing, a few years ago, with the menopause communities, when it got to where I was giving more than I was getting - and much of what I was getting was "annoyed."

Sometimes you just need to do what *you* need to do.

That decision must be a relief. Yay for all that you have done, and yay for knowing when to take a rest.

'feels strange' ... but liberating?

I've done the same in the past, I wanted to change the way I saw myself & move forward. I found leaving really helpful .. hope you do to :)

{huggles}

A hard decision... now you've made it, how do you feel? I often find that once a decision has been made, I'm entirely happy with it.

[Whether this is because it was the right one, or just because it's now dealt with and actually it didn't matter either way, who knows? Um. Actually this isn't a particularly helpful comment. Ignore me.]

aaaaand.... not half an hour after posting that, I received independent confirmation that the decision I was mainly thinking of was *objectively* the correct one.

I am trying to think positively, you see ;-)
