Hung a load of laundry, put another load on, scattered grass seed over the bald patches, watered it (our water butt is empty, had to fill the watering can from the bath, very odd), got Emer to sleep again, kept tidying.

The front room is a tip again though, as, er, I have a toddler here. I don't think it'll take long to sort out though because it's all toys and they have homes.

That's the *important* part. It's not quite so critical if everything isn't in its place, so long as there *is* a place for everything!
