I forgot the really important question - do your daughters pull it any less now that it's short.

Charles thinks my hair is a really fun toy.

When it gets pulled it hurts less, I think because fewer hairs from far off get involved so there's no single-hair pinpoints of pain. Also, the hair at the back of my neck is now too short to pull easily.
