Stable now with rising possibilities

A four-month-old with a temperature of 39.6C / 103F isn't funny. We've all had a monstrous cold; Emer in particular keeps choking and gargling on mucus. Today she choked herself sick, slept for two hours, and woke with a fever. We forced paracetemol down her and over several hours her temperature dropped again.
Linnea was a little upset by the attention being paid to Emer (very Eithne agus an bhruitineach) and her bedtime was a drama. But everyone is now abed and asleep and all is well.
Except that it is all but impossible for me to eat enough. Ever.
We're also planning the purchase of a new table. I want something which will be invisible when we're not using it, but seat 25 comfortably when I want it to. With storage drawers. Mm.
And I found piano tuner numbers, Rob called them, and we're getting it seen to on Tuesday 2nd January. Hurrah! I can leave the lid up if the damn thing's in tune; it's horrible otherwise. But what's the point of a piano Linnea can't play?
I must find some more photos to get prints of, and get some, and send them to my sisters. Also thank-you-notes for the Christmas gifts, though I can't remember who sent what to whom at this stage.
And I have a parcel to post to
