Packing!

The packing is almost done. I have far more bags than I wanted, but that's what happens when packing for a month away from home with two small children. I can't imagine lugging bottles as well as this lot. Part of the problem is the kind of stuff we're not allowed to take through security and the kind of stuff we can't allow into the hold - when I repack for the cross-country train trip I'll have at least one and possibly two fewer bags.

We're waiting for two pairs of Linnea's trousers to dry on the radiator, and one of Emer's babygros, otherwise she has to wear a polyester one. Tomorrow we'll all three be wearing matching tie-dye tshirts for ease of finding lost lambs.

The Citilite buggy is down from the attic! I no longer need a pushchair I can lean on, so the lovely easy-fold narrow lightweight one is back. Suitable for Emer or Linnea (though Linnea's weight will kill it pretty quickly), it fits on all known buses and trains, folds one-handed, weighs less than the baby, and has a decent shopping basket. This is the first buggy Linnea used; we put it in the attic when the handle got too weak to be used as a walking frame any more, and bought a new one, which we used until it couldn't be steered any more.

Where do I go in Dublin to get prints from digital pics on a USB key, within 24 hours at the most?

Hope all the logistics work out and that you have a wonderful trip :)

Will be looking forward to seeing an enormous Emer and the rest of you in the new year.
