I'm not eating much these days since Emer is just finished a growth spurt, but I'll tell you what I had yesterday as far as I can remember:
Almost four pancakes, some with honey; thick fluffy ones, not crepes. Orange juice, two cups of tea, and a glass of water.
A cup of tea and two cups of some kind of squash, at toddler group.
A baked potato with chili con carne, and coleslaw. Orange juice, one cup of tea, and a glass of water.
Another cup of tea; I'd have eaten something but the cafe sold nothing dairy-free.
About half a packet of bourbon creams - 100g. Two or three cups of rooibosh tea, I forget.
Pasta with bolognese sauce.
Two more cups of rooibosh tea, and two bars of Fry's Chocolate Cream.
Today:
Four pancakes, no honey - I couldn't be bothered to open the jar. Two glasses of water, two cups of tea, and a glass of orange juice.
A bar of Fry's and a cup of Earl Grey tea.
A mug of coffee.
A bar of Frys and two cups of tea.
Two-thirds of a four-egg potato omelette.
Two cups of tea.
Two bars of Frys and two cups of tea.
A bowl of pasta and bolognese sauce.
A cup of tea, a glass of water, three slices of bara brith with spread, and a bar of Frys.
And I'm not finished yet. I think I need more protein in my breakfast, and I know I need more fruit and proper veg. And more than 5 hours' sleep. I'm not reading much LJ today.

Date: 2006-11-17 12:24 am (UTC)Off the top of my head:
Bring amt. of liquid (chicken or veg. stock) prescribed on the side of the box to a boil, add prescribed amt. of couscous, 1/2 cup (3-4 oz) of sultanas, 1/2 teaspoon of curry powder, 1 cup (6-8 oz) frozen peas. Stir. Remove from heat, let sit 5-7 min. Fluff with a fork. Substitutions for frozen peas include: grated carrot, chopped apple, tinned chick peas or butter beans. I don't remember if you eat tinned tuna, but if you do you can toss that in as well. If you're feeling particularly energetic you can use real veg like chopped bell peppers or mange-tout peas.
