Restful weekend
Nov. 11th, 2006 04:52 pmI spent the morning mainly in bed, either sleeping, feeding, or playing with Emer. She did the most enormous poo, so when she slept I sorted out all the dirty nappies and set them to soak, put away the dry laundry, and hung the wet. And stuck a load of bedding on.
I also finished making the bara brith, which I had for lunch. I'm going to need a bigger loaf tin; it overflows now that we're using fresh flour rather than ancient stuff.
I think Emer is considering a growth spurt; her digestive patterns are altering again and she's getting overtired and cranky.
And I watched a Jeeves & Wooster double bill on ITV3. Dinner's reheating in the oven. My contact lenses are a baffling mystery to me; I can't even tell whether they're inside-out or not.

Date: 2006-11-11 08:40 pm (UTC)Re the contact lenses, I get that sometimes when I'm very tired - they just seem to irritate my eyes as if I've put them in inside-out even when I haven't. If rinse-and-repeat doesn't work, it's a specs day until I can get some more sleep!
