ailbheSo Linnea watched three hours of tv. So what? My alternative was losing my temper with her through no fault of her own.
So she refused lunch and breakfast and has eaten crystallised ginger instead. So what? Perhaps she's self-medicating a tummyache.
I got my hair and teeth brushed, made Linnea lunch even if she didn't eat it, ate my own lunch, and hung most of three loads of laundry. There's another load to go in but it's not going until I have somewhere to hang it. I also changed a couple of nappies.
Emer needs and refuses to nap. I need to clear the kitchen, empty and refill the dishwasher, and put away clean, dry laundry. If I get Emer to sleep anywhere but on me, I will.
