I'm sorry it's so hard at the moment. Been there, done that (though sadly without the rainbow shirt- I have serious shirt envy) and can promise that it does get easier. But I also remember those newborn and toddler times well enough to know just how bloody little that blithe assurance helps when you're in the midst of it, and all you really want is sleep, full time domestic help, sleep, and possibly some sleep.
I hope things improve soon, and you can sort out Rob's work situation.
That looks like a very defiant, life-you-will-not-chew-me up-and-spit-me-out smile. Bravo. And I spy Willing Slaves behind you - we have that one too..
I reckon so long as you're able to register the joy, you're still just on the right side of the coping/ not coping line. If there's no joy any more, that's when I worry.
It's a bit sick actually. We went to Tigger Toddlers ALL THREE wearing matching rainbow tees. Mine and Linnea's were tshirts, and Emer's was a teesuit. It'll be matching outfits made from curtains next (though I will outsource the manufacture).
