Rainbow clothes and stories told

The baby in the sling slept sound
The buggied baby read
And at the back the mother walked
And tried to keep her head

Once upon a time there was
A little girl called You
And she and I - that's you and me -
Together played as two

And then there was another girl
Called Baby New - that's She
And she and you and I - that's us -
Together played as three

Now I am tired, cold, and sad
And you play all alone
And she's asleep and slightly damp
But at least we're all at home...
