To stop Linnea unpacking it, Rob put a box of stuff in the hall, on the front door side of the babyproof gate.

Of course, I can't move the box. So I can't get out of the house - I mean, I could get out if there was a fire, but not to, say, run errands. Like going to the library to return and take out books, and pay for a book we've lost.

I am so, so tired of living with someone a foot taller than I am who can step over things.

Make all the doors a foot shorter so he has to duck all the time ... he'll soon learn.

Argh! I presume it's in to tight a space to be kicked/foot-pushed out of the way?

Ugh, poor you. Exactly what kind of trouble is Rob in when he returns?

Can't you go out the back door? I also live in a house of big things that I can't shift. I had to ask my 55 year old neighbour to help me move a bookcase yesterday. Andy didn't like where I put it, so he's move dit backa gin this morning *seethes*

Ah, didn't think of that, we have a gate in our back yard, but I know that not all of them do.

Cycling without knees would be hard on a trikle that expects the cycler to have knees.

Oy. *nods*

Everything in my kitchen is *way* over my head. I can't even put away the stupid measuring cups, much less get them out.
