Parenting Support Communities

I started a new community, plan_survive, because there isn't a single* parenting community out there at present in which I feel totally comfortable. I feel either too hippie or not hippie enough.

I'm happy to change the community info if people can come up with better phrasing.

It's quiet in there...

* Solitary. I'm not a newly single parent. You can all breathe now.

I first read your message as "single parenting" community, with single as the qualifier on parenting, not on parenting *community*, and for a moment I was confused and a little worried!

Fabulous, I'm in. I stay away from parenting groups normally as I usually end up getting flamed for baby wearing my 16 month old, as an example.

Didn't you know that you should always use a buggy when you go out or not carry your baby when they are unwell & want comfort?! ...

I hate being able to use my arms whenever I want to. And as for being able to walk around shops, or up steps - ugh!
