Mm, contractions, how lovely
Apr. 11th, 2006 09:48 pmWell, here we go again with the Braxton Hicks. Today they started around 5 am; I slept through some and didn't through others. They didn't stop until after 9 am.
I keep telling my uterus that it doesn't need to do this, it may never have to have a contraction again, we're doing things differently this time... but it doesn't listen.
Oh well. At least they don't hurt yet. Though it's possible that they didn't hurt last time, and the ones that did were early labour. Who knows?
In other news, my vestibulitis is itising for all it's worth, and Rob is going to go out and buy me crisps really soon.
(But there were spiders in my bed this morning; "Look Mammy, pider!" and they crawled all over my face until they tickled my neck)

In my experience, which is considerable where contractions are concerned; BH are uncomfy; if it hurts, it is a contraction. I am quite convinced that many mothers suffer contractions, but are patronisingly patted on the hand, and told 'they're just Braxton Hicks, dear, they don't really hurt' Yeah, right
