Cloth nappies: Not just for mopping up
Mar. 30th, 2006 04:27 pmLinnea fell asleep on my lap during a feed, just a few minutes ago, and I needed to put her down. I'm too pregnant to carry her upstairs (and I really need to do some aquanatal classes, actually, because I am getting too worried about the stabbing pains which are almost certainly due to lack of exercise) and the only place to put her down was on the quite grubby rug in the library.
So I lifted her up, grabbed a clean prefold nappy from a stack of laundry on the windowseat, and put that down for her "pillow". So at least her face is on a scrupulously clean piece of fabric, even if the rest of her is lying in halfchewed raisins and breadcrumbs and things.
She hasn't napped for a while. I think it's all part of recovering from this cold.
