It's easier to cook from scratch
Oct. 14th, 2009 01:43 pmThe children are able to break and beat eggs, melt butter-substitute in a saucepan, and scramble the eggs. They can't open a tin, even with a ring-pull.
(Yesterday we had scrambled eggs for lunch, today it was tuna and sweetcorn. No, I don't let them handle the cooker unsupervised, I'm not totally irresponsible).
