Public transport: Fares
Oct. 2nd, 2009 11:21 pmTo get across town and back in an afternoon costs us £5.30 by bus - to get to Oxford and back would cost us £6.40 by train. And possibly be slightly quicker. If I buy the train tickets at the station, I can get unlimited Oxford bus travel for about £2, too.
I wonder if
taimatsu would like to come? Must ask her when she gets back online.

Date: 2009-10-03 05:34 pm (UTC)I've been buying train tickets today. You can get to Bath (1 adult, 1 child) for £5.95. You have to pay it again to get back of course, but it seems better value than Reading Buses!
