Lovely day!
May. 9th, 2009 07:27 pmBuying a new phone was neither as difficult nor as expensive as I feared. I got the train to town and popped into Eclectic Games, where Darrell obliged me by talking about phones. When Becky arrived I suggested we go get some lunch, and on the way to lunch we went to the phone shop where I got a new phone, not too small, with the same interface as the old one. It has a camera of sorts and a radio which I think I might love madly, and it spoke Bluetooth to my old phone so I was able to get all the numbers from one to the other.
After lunch I went to the True Food market and bought, well, food, and then came home on the bus and did laundry and sorted my new phone out. I didn't have time to sit in a cafe alone with a book, sadly, but lunch out counts, I feel. And the TFC might be able to help with sourcing Xylitol.
Meanwhile, the children had a marvellous time with Rob and his parents; they saw boats and ate a big lunch and got lots of presents.
