Overheard in a queue for ferry check-in on Saturday morning:
Are there any fucken muslims here?
I was deligh'e' when they shot that fella yesterday.
They should bomb the fucken mosque, that's be a pleasant change.

Seen, not overheard, on the ferry on Saturday: A woman pouring Coke (Coca-Cola) from a labelled bottle into a toddler's bottle, the kind with a teat, like for drinking formula or milk.

Gah. Like the woman that I saw in Coolock feeding Chipsticks to her tiny toddler. Way to go on instilling the healthy eating habits...

I was apparently called a bitch at baby club at the library a few weeks ago for being shocked when my 16 week old was offered Quavers. Luckily Sure Start appear to have used the excuse to bar the grandmother doing the offering (it was far from her first infraction).
