Baby and menstruation

We went to a birthday party for the first one of my little antenatal group today. It was lovely. There were just 3 babies and parents in the end, and swimming, food, and playing with baby toys and so on. I feel a lot better about Linnea's approaching birthday now.

Another reason I'm pleased I had a baby: I now know that maternity sanitary towels are great and I will probably use them for the rest of my life. My laundry will thank me. I thought the previous soaked-through-ruined sheets situation was Just Life until I used maternity towels for a regular period lately and was very pleasantly surprised. Yippee! (Yes, I am still going to try the mooncup some day, but please, don't press me or I'll tell you exactly why it doesn't work right now).
