Today Rob dried Linnea after her bath.

On our bed.

It's ok, we've stripped it and turned the mattress. The duvet will go to the laundrette tomorrow. So will the cover and the sheet and the mattress protector.

I'm laughing my head off, quietly because she's asleep now. This is worth getting to bed late over.

My mum was playing with smallclanger in a paddling pool, in the summer. She said he suddenly developed an 'evil grin' and asked to be lifted up. She did, and discovered the hard way that swim nappies are not leakproof. She had to change everything she was wearing, apparently. (I missed it but I'm almost sorry I did, for the comedy value alone.)
