Awake! Awake! Fear! Fire! Foes! Awake!
Jul. 30th, 2004 05:15 pmNormally, Linnea stops breathing, the alarm on the monitor goes off, startles her, and she starts again.
Today, the alarm went off, and didn't stop. I dashed upstairs, shouting to Rob (who was already upstairs and could get there faster) "The alarm! The alarm!"
He walked out of his office carrying Linnea.
The machine couldn'tdetect her breathing because she wasn't there.
I sat on the stairs and cried.

There's a Baby Blues cartoon on the same lines but I can't find it online right now. This one (http://www.babyblues.com/Testing/index.php?formname=getstrip&GoToDay=01/23/03) might give you a slightly relevant smile though.
