I am now home, and sort of back to normal, for values of normal that include a certain amount of convalescing.

Rob is an absolute hero and no-one will ever be able to truly appreciate the support and care he gave me, during labour and afterwards. There is no prize great enough to reward him for all he has done, unless the fact that he's allowed to be Linnea's Daddy is a prize - and judging by his joy at changing her nappy at 3:30 am today, it is.

We are blissfully happy, all three.

No trust greater, either. You two will be great parents. It won't all be joy and laughter all the way, but you will be there for each other and you will have your love to keep you strong and coping. Long may the honeymoon (there really ought to be a proper word for when it's bonding time with a new babe) last. And may your troubles all be little ones! ;-)
