Depilated

Underarm waxing hurts. Really, really hurts. However, it's done now, so I can be beautiful for my wedding. Ow ow ow.

The legs weren't so bad, and I just hope that it doesn't grow back before the wedding, because I really wouldn't like getting it done again. The woman who did it was very professional; she ripped it all off quite quickly and got it over with as soon as possible, which I much appreciated, because it couldn't have been made pleasant.

Bye bye furry feminist principles again.

Is it better than shaving, in the pits?

The hair in my armpits grows out flat along the skin, so that when I shave you can still see the portion growing under the skin - about 3mm usually. Also, it grows fast enough to create noticeable stubble within 6 hours.

So for super-hirsute me, yes, waxing is better than shaving, if I need depilated armpits. But I've never done it before and I never want to do it again. For one thing, I hate the feel of depilated armpits - it's so sticky.
