Hum.

Reasons not to quit:

  1. Neither my boss nor the efficient admin person have quit yet
  2. I really want to have a year's continuous employment on my CV.
  3. Jobs are really hard to get.
  4. I don't want to have to start accumulating holiday all over again.
  5. I like having a short walking commute.

Reasons to quit:

  1. I come home from work in a foul mood and I bitch at Rob.
  2. I'm tired out every evening.
  3. I spend a lot of my day aither doing fuck all or bitching or both.
  4. I savagely hate some of the people I have to deal with more than 3 times a week.

Well, I guess that means I don't quit. Yet.

Is there some kind of a project (writing, research, reading, something) that you could do at work to absorb the time you spend doing nothing? I find that genuinely busy days (as opposed to artificial-deadline busy days) are the least stressful; I look up and it's four in the afternoon, I haven't had (perceptive) time to get stressed.
