I keep applying for jobs

And I'm getting precisely nowhere. Brook Street refuse to let me apply for jobs that I'm overqualified for. The jobs I've been applying for are so depressing I don't even want to think about them, much less do them, though of course I will and I daresay they wouldn't be so bad once I got started.
