ailbheEmer was awful in the night; miserable and wakeful and thirsty. So I am awful today; miserable and sleepy and thirsty. Rob is being a hero of the revolution again and Linnea is doing ok, though her face is all swoll up and she's had a dose of antihistamine. Shortly Rob is going to go out and buy paracetamol, of which we have none.
Yesterday Rob fixed Emer's bed, with a little help from me and the girls, and now the children's room is accessible again, because they depend on Emer's bed being pushed away under Linnea's during the day. And the bathroom will be finished soon. And then we can clean and tidy the house and start living in it properly again.
Oh, and emptying the loft and finishing the insulation and ceiling up there. It really does need to be insulated before winter.
Rob's going to do a chili tonight, to have with baked potatoes left over from yesterday's barbecue. He really is a wonderful cook. I wish I'd known ten years ago.
Two unexpected people showed up on Facebook today.
