ailbheI am an idiot so I got up and helped Emer make a snowman and shoveled the snow from a neighbour's doorstep and sulked about my boots from before lunchtime until after the kids were in bed before I asked Rob to help me get them off.
I also painted a painting.
And I'm designing vast drum lightshades -- two of them -- 50cm radius 15-20 cm high. That's pi metres of fabric to paint for the shades. I'm trying to work out what I want to do with them. I have too many ideas.
I've just realised that it's probably ESSENTIAL to measure in metres our bookshelf space. Not the space we have, the space we need - so everything in use right now plus all the stacks of books in the wrong places laid on the table between bookends and measured.
Pinterest is far more useful than I'd imagined.
