I'm exhausted and my chest aches. I think I have The Cough without a cough. Also I overdid it yesterday in my excitement at seeing sunshine.

The things we grow get a lot more watering during a water shortage though because I water them instead of chucking water down the drain. Hm.

Send two birthday presents and cards - we missed Freya AND Isabelle this year!

Send some paintings, which are now wrapped for posting
Sort out compost and planting
Clear middle bedroom
Put away winter hats, scarves, gloves - get out summer ones (!)
Try a different veg delivery box
Change Smile standing orders
Book train tickets for next London trip

I think, given that it's, like, totally summer now, we should arrange to stay in London for dinner (chips? curry?) and meet up with people after our museum visit. Who? Where? When? I'm looking at Wednesday, 18th or 25th April. We will probably go to the Nat Hist but it might be the Science Museum, where I've never been.

The water thing is so interesting! I find I'm more frugal about household supplies (soap, for instance) when we have a little than when we have a lot, too.

Feel better, dearheart! And oh my gosh, thank you on the art. Let's talk about the purchased one, too. I'll look for you online in the next couple days. (I'm off to launder all the things at the moment.

We half-fill shampoo and handsoap bottles precisely because a full one inspires wanton frivolity and waste. It seems to be a semi-instinctive Thing.
