Got Astrid down for a nap
Put out bag of landfill waste
Emailed Rob re: freecycle stuff

Cook lunch
Choose some of the new "educational" books to release to the children
Check finances

Helped Linnea hang posters in her room
Put sausages on to cook
Started chopping a butternut squash (any tips for how to peel one?) for Emer to make into roast-sized chunks

Clear kitchen surfaces
Clear kids' bedroom floor
Do yoga with Linnea and Emer
Start pantry inventory, as we have no idea what we have
Cook dinner
Hang wet laundry
Wash dirty laundry

Date: 2011-11-22 02:53 pm (UTC)The second pass with the peeler is usually trickier because the squash tends to get a bit slippery, but my injury rate so far is still lower than with slightly bendy parsnips. There may well be better methods, though.
