I might take another 2mg. A bit after midnight I had the kind of anxiety that comes with uncontrollable shaking, chattering teeth, upset tummy, etc. Yayness.

Part of it is old demons about being lied to. Part of it is probably Linnea liking the taste of Calpol enough to take a whole day's dose at a sitting, along with a pack of biscuits. She's fine, but she's getting nasty adult medicine in future.

Ugh, I can understand why Linnea's yummy-meds episode might lead to freaked-outness. *hugs* and sympathy. The "you're getting nasty adult medicine now" response does sound like a good one. Natural consequences and all that.

This is probably a really dumb question, but I'm guessing there's no practical way to keep meds (yummy-tasting or otherwise) in a *locked* (and Linnea-inaccessable) place such that the only way she can get them is when you're actually physically administering them to her?

(speaking as a person who as a toddler managed to climb implausibly high furniture to access items that were considered secured, I know this often isn't as easy as it sounds...)

OMG, Linnea and her love of kiddie drugs is totally scary. This isn't the first time either! Jeez! No wonder you're a mess. I would be too!

Nasty adult medicine is the order of the day. BLECH!

If she does it again we're taking her to hospital even though she won't need it (we don't keep potentially dangerous dose in the house).
