Getting tidier with the help of UFYH on Tumblr (warning: rude words).

Having a BRILLIANT migraine, it could have won migraining competitions, it was awesome, especially in its sense of timing, which was EXACTLY when we needed to be...

Camping with friends we met at NHS antenatal classes before Linnea was born. The children had a fabulous time, I REALLY MISSED seeing my friends, but there you go, I'm a bit rubbish sometimes.

I also got award-winning insect bites which were bad enough to take to an actual DOCTOR omg.

And I've been learning to make bread again, after a long hiatus. Plain white is easy, because everyone eats it while it's still hot and it tastes great that way; everything else is more complicated.

Rob had a week off work AT HOME and we went cycling and had a riverside picnic and played games and were generally familial. We need to put a bit more effort into being casually familial, because we tend to slide into chaos when we stop focussing on what we're doing, and it wastes time.

The blackberries are ripe and we picked them and made clafoutis.

Astrid turned TWO and is GENIUS in EVERY WAY.

Emer will be SIX in a minute.

Linnea is EIGHT and is possibly the BEST big sister anyone ANYWHERE has EVER had EVER in the history of EVER, when she's not driving them nuts.

I went to the GP who referred me to the sexual health clinic who referred me to the gynaecologist, so soon! soon! my PMS might be slightly under control and with it the migraines, pain, short temper, and with any luck at all the depression, which would be COMPLETELY BRILLIANT.

I mention this slightly because I heard on Twitter that going to a sexual health clinic is a suspicious pervert type of an act (something to do with the CPS?) and I'd like to note that I cycled there in the sunshine with my toddler on the back of my bike and we didn't see ANY perverts AT ALL but the NHS staff were lovely and friendly and everyone smiled at the toddler especially when she said she wanted "a dink a wata peez inna GUP" because she'd seen the water cooler and I hadn't. She sat on the chair in the waiting room in a very grown-up way and only got a bit difficult when the nurse came, because nurses in general are coming for HER and they have TONGUE DEPRESSORS and THERMOMETERS and PULSE OXIMETERS but it was ok, the nurse was coming for me, and Astrid was unassaulted.

Unlike my caps lock.
