I feel so lazy and relaxed... I must be mad.

Because today started with bathing both children because they were covered in "washable" marker. Then I sorted the art box, filed away the new stuff, put the in-use stuff in a container, and confiscated all the markers I could find. I hate the damn things.

Then I made two loaves of bread and fed everyone breakfast and got us all dressed, not necessarily in that order. Then I hung out two loads of laundry and cleared and swept the dining room and hall floors. And got Emer down for a nap.

When the bread cools down we'll eat some of it for lunch.

Linnea was distinctly and deliberately naughty, in a characteristically cross-with-Daddy way, and, on final revocation of all privileges and being sent to her room, went thoroughly and soundly to sleep.

Oh. So that's why.

(In other news, the wholewheat and oats bread was lovely; rye mix this evening).

I have spent just over a week trying to work out how to get more antibiotics to treat the Lyme Disease which I may or may not have but which I have to treat aggressively because by the time I can prove I have it it's too late to treat easily.

Several frantic phonecalls to confused and disgruntled receptionists later, I think I have a repeat prescription. I've had a horrible day of being a bad mother, and Rob has volunteered to go and fetch the prescription and get it filled. He will come back later with drugs and I can take them and then everything will be fine.

This is a small thing but it's making a big difference to my life.

Morning:
"Time to get dressed."
"No da! Yayah da!"
Ailbhe goes to find a dress like Linnea's.

Evening:
"Emer! Pyjama time!"
"No!"
"Linnea has pyjamas on."
"Ma top off! Ma top off! MINE dama!"
Ailbhe dresses Emer in pyjamas.
