I have spent just over a week trying to work out how to get more antibiotics to treat the Lyme Disease which I may or may not have but which I have to treat aggressively because by the time I can prove I have it it's too late to treat easily.

Several frantic phonecalls to confused and disgruntled receptionists later, I think I have a repeat prescription. I've had a horrible day of being a bad mother, and Rob has volunteered to go and fetch the prescription and get it filled. He will come back later with drugs and I can take them and then everything will be fine.

This is a small thing but it's making a big difference to my life.

Good for you, for getting what you need. I hope that you are getting high enough doses and a long enough course... this bug can be tough to beat.

How are you feeling today? What kind of symptoms do you have?

I feel fine. I have had no symptoms since the first flu-like ones abated before I started taking meds. None - at all. Now I have another 14 days' worth of drugs, I really feel very hopeful. My immune system was pretty strong before I started - I'd been taking serious care of it for a while. So fingers crossed.
