After all my cold-weather prep, it's spring! Kim came today and we pottered about a bit, then went into town, rested and ate, bought Linnea some new boots, bought some protective tablecovers with amusing patterns, rested and ate, and came home. The new double buggy is great but takes precision steering through doors, and it was too warm for coats while we were out.
Yup, too warm for coats!
Emer isn't keen on the buggy concept really; she prefers the sling. She's a little inclined to hick up mucus again. But in general she's getting better and cheerfuller and fatter and fabulous.
Linnea's having a tough time adjusting to being back home; it's all been very unpredictable and unsettling. I keep wanting to plan weekends away and remembering that she really, really needs to stay settled for a while, so even short trips are out, let alone some of the exciting longer-distance ones I've been thinking of. This is probably all to the good; I recognise this urge to Do Things from when Linnea was a baby and I needed to prove to myself that I wasn't unwell when in fact I was.
