We got up on time for once - I half-woke Linnea for a feed at about midnight, so she didn't get the night fright she usually does, so she didn't have to sleep in our bed, so I could move my arms when I woke. This makes a huge difference to the day. So we all washed and dressed and had breakfast, and then we trooped off in the drizzle to the playground. Linnea spent a long time on the swings and a short while on the slide, and I spent a minute on the big-girl swings.
On the way home we passed a lot of people taking their kids to school. Perhaps we're neglecting our little monster; she didn't even have a raincover most of the time she was out in her buggy.
When we got home she went for her morning nap. It's a little too early for comfort since we started getting up at 6 instead of 7, but I suppose that can't be helped. At least it means I'm more likely to share it than I used to be.
