So all I didn't manage from Thursday To Do was to visit a friend and give him some shirts, really. I also managed an unscheduled bath for all three children, drawing up plans for the home improvements, taking deliveries, and paying some bills online.

Friday to do:

Laundry, for a change
Tidy dining room? or front room? somewhere, anyway
Clean the fridge
Have people over
Price up a taxi to IKEA
Sort Lego and put a lot of it away
Take girls to Girls Brigade

Saturday to do:

While Rob is at swimming with the girls, go to Farmer's Market and drop shirts off with friend.
Go to True Food Co-op in Emmer Green
Go to baby shower (first ever! now seriously considering having post-emptive baby shower for all three of mine, but not sure what to call it).
Go to homewares type place to look at tiles, paint etc - Wickes? Focus? Homebase? B&Q? where do you suggest? remember, three children, no car, though possibly Rob would mind them while I went.

Sunday to do:

Meeting! Oh, I've missed it!
Cooking - we need over a week's meals in the freezer ready for the frantic work ahead.
Birthday present shopping, for one March birthday, one April birthday, and two May birthdays. Whoops.

Which IKEA are you going to? You can get to Croydon without needing a taxi, but you'd probably want one for getting back with $STUFF considering you also have small children to wrangle on and off trains. I'm guessing that Wembley might well be closer, though.

Another option is to use the IKEA Home Delivery service - it costs £30-50 depending on how much $stuff you have and how far from IKEA you live, but it could be cheaper than a taxi and less effort. Croydon usually manages next-day delivery even when you're in the shop at 11pm on a Saturday night!
