Distracted

I get irritated by the way Rob gets distracted; he says he's going to empty the dishwasher, or hang laundry, or something, and instead he drinks tea, or reads a book on his shiny Google phone, or something.

But this evening THREE TIMES I went to drink my tea; the first time I picked stuff up off the floor instead, the second time I emptied the dishwasher, rinsed the filter, and started it on a self-cleaning cycle, and the third time I helped Astrid not fall over while she failed to stand up to her own satisfaction.

We really need to work on meeting in the middle somewhere, because I NEEDED that tea.

So you're as bad as he is, but in the opposite direction! Only one of those three jobs you did had to be done _right then_; the other two could have waited 10 minutes...
Perhaps you need to be stricter in giving yourself a break...
