ailbheTidied my bedroom ready for hoovering
Sorted a load of laundry to go on
Got suitcase and some clothes ready for packing
Fished ballbearings out of the library step-stool
Cooked porridge for breakfast
Changed nappies
Hung nappy wraps to dry
Had breakfast
Cleared and scrubbed table in children's corner
Scrubbed child's chair
Threaded string back through waistband of Emer's drawstring trousers - RSI ow
Chipped a dinner plate while emptying the dishwasher
Washed pots and roasting trays which didn't come clean in the dishwasher
Refilled dishwasher, ran rinse cycle, emptied filter, started proper cycle
Cleared both kitchen counters
Washed tetrapak recycling
Washed some ancient takeaway sauce tubs from the fridge, will use them to store Hama beads
Packed various containers into the shopping trolley to return to the TFC
Phoned TFC to arrange meat order for this evening - lots of mutton
Cleared kitchen floor ready for washing
MADE TEA because Astrid is ASLEEP.
Yet to do:
Make lunch
Hang two loads of laundry
Empty dishwasher, put food waste in clean bucket
Clear bathroom surfaces
Clear bathroom floor
Clear dining room floor
Clear front hall floor
Clear stairs
Clear front room floor
Clear upstairs landing
Clear spare room floor
Clear kids' room floor
Hurray.
15:30: Cleaning lady didn't come. I cleaned the bathroom (counter/windowsill, bath, basin, loo, toddler loo seat, toilet brush holder, bin, floor - I didn't do the mirror or window) and the kitchen (counters, sink, draining board, hob top, fronts of units, walls by sink and kettle, fridge, floor - the floor was filthy, and I didn't do the windows). It could have been much worse but I wish I'd taken BEFORE photos. I did take AFTER ones. And put the kettle on again.
