Stink! Success!

Today Rob dug out the compost bin - all of it - and tomorrow we will give the ready to use compost to our neighbours. This is brilliant, because somewhere to put our compostable waste has long been a big problem for us. An empty or half-empty bin will help a lot.

I, on the other hand, established that I hate clothes shopping and need to buy some size 14 bootcut jeans for winter wear. I also managed to get a winter cardi, which is great, but no arm warmers. I really want arm warmers; hat, scarf, armwarmers and baby on my back seems to make wintry sense to me.

Last winter I made myself a couple of pairs of armwarmers out of old socks :) They were fantastic for indoor wear - thin so didn't get in the way, but I really noticed how warm they were keeping me when I took them off! A bit tatty though, and I am thinking of knitting myself some nicer ones this year ....
