I am utterly rubbish at going to sleep without Rob here. I'm not even afraid, this time (usually I am afraid when alone in the house at night). I just miss him.

Which is a damn shame, because the evening was incredibly easy without the excitement of his arrival revving the children up again just before bedtime.

Edit: 1 am. I fail at adulthood. Can I blame postnatal hormones?

:-( Hope you got some sleep eventually.
I think I'm better at going to sleep in the first place with company, but less likely to doze off again if I wake before getting-up time.

I sometimes feel sad and meepy or miss my partner when home alone too and I don't have three children to be responsible for.

I hope it gets easier soon, or Rob returns relatively soon.

I still haven't got used to sleeping alone, despite it being four years since I separated, and another couple of years before that since I was sleeping in the same bed as a partner. Loneliness really sucks :-(

I'm also not afraid, but I sleep rubbish when Andy is away. I'm v glad to have a day at home to myself today, as I'm now very tired.
