More con recovery
Sep. 1st, 2010 12:36 pmAstrid's snuffling is getting better - it's all in her nose now, her chest seems clear. The children all woke at 7-ish and went back to sleep, Linnea in her bed and Emer under the dining table with her face on a rucksack.
It was lovely to sleep in my own bed again. The new mattress we bought while Rob was on paternity leave is softer than the old one, but the hotel beds swallowed me up and made turning over at night almost totally impossible. Presumably some people like soft beds.
And I can't begin to express how much I like real food.
But I must drink some coffee, because this morning I have a headache, due almost entirely to caffeine withdrawal. Two flasks of tea apparently doesn't cut it.
In further Rob is awesome news, the dirty laundry we brought back from the con is almost all dry and ready to use now.
