Why no, not all that lazy really.
Jun. 1st, 2009 03:44 pmI've been sitting here berating myself for sitting here, on this hot, oppressive day.
(Interrupts self to put telly on for kids, Shrek soundtrack on for self, boogie around the dining room, sit down again).
So here's a list of what I've done.
Two loads in the dishwasher, including the dish-draining rack by the sink, which is a pain to wash by hand and I wish I'd thought of dishwashing it earlier.
I think four loads of laundry, but maybe more, including children's and guest bedding. Hanging white washing in bright sunlight is painful. Thank heavens for photosensitive lenses!
Fed everyone small snacklike mini-meals continuously all day. Too hot for real food. I hope they acclimatise soon.
Cleaned out three compost containers and fed the bokashi bin. Sorted the tetra-pak recycling which I must now wash and squash ready to take to the recycling bins. Brought the landfill wheelie bin back through the house to sit outside the back door until it's full enough for collection again - estimate four weeks, maybe longer.
Dealt with several infant episodes of Sunny Tummy.
Tidied the pantry.
I also had a wonderful breakfast - cold apricot clafouti with oat cream, and black coffee. More of that sort of thing, say I.
